Thank you Tom for all the great poetry nights and your clarity of thought in interesting times. A fine man, honest and true, an intellectual with ethics and integrity, Tom somehow triumphed in places where these qualities can cause offence. He always encouraged me to write, as he did with many folk and now I am bereft. I thought we would meet for a coffee in the new year. My heart goes out to Sonya and the family he cherished.
